Come all ye faithful....

CHRISTMAS!!! I love Christmas! Love the planning, the cards, the shopping and of course the presents and fellowshipping with all our family and friends. There is just something about celebrating the birth of our Savior. The joy it fills you with. The thankfulness that everyone seems to have around that time.

A lot to be excited for! Finally got to the doctors, and we are starting all the tests to find out whats wrong with me. We did find out that I have a vitamin D deficiency, which, God willing, that is all. But I still have a ton of blood test left to do. Matt is back at work and although we had thought he was going to be laid off this week we just found out (possibly!) that he may stay for a couple more months with the same company but different job. Please pray for us in that area.

We celebrated our first anniversary of marriage and the our third of being together overall. I only make Matt remember the wedding one. lol So crazy to think that we have been married for one year now! We have so many plans and dreams ahead of us and right now we are enjoying each other and all the thing you learn in the first few years of marriage. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in the last year and offered all the great advice and just plain being there when we need someone. You guys are awesome and you know who you are!!

Matt's 24th birthday is coming and I don't think a surprise party is going to work this year. He may be prepared for it. In fact, I think he thinks that I'm planning one, but I'm not. Just a family and friend party this year! I can't believe we have been together for over 3 years now! It's seems so fast, yet so slow. We have grown so much together!

Matt only has one year left of school and he is done with his apprenticeship! He is so excited because his pay raise keeps going up and he gets to do so much more. Lately he has been working in Astoria as most of you know. Carpooling with some co-workers and sharing the driving is a lot better but still hard on all of them. It's only 8 hour days but he's gone for 12 because of all the driving. I will be so happy when he gets to switch jobs. He will be home more!

We had a scare with our nephew, Noah. We had thought that he may have been really sick but God is faithful and it all proved to be nothing. My sister, Samantha, who is now 13, made her basketball team! We are so excited to start watching her games! Penelope the hellion we all know and love. Those who have met her (and as Aimee has learned) she loves to attack people. This morning she bit my knee for no reason then decided to cuddle next to me. The perfect kitty! :)

Halloween passed with no big fanfare. Was invited to an awesome party but we weren't feeling good, so we decided just to pass out candy...mostly to us since we didn't get a single trick or treater. Not one! We have so much extra candy....Matt is enjoying eating them at lunch.

We are getting ready to move into a bigger apartment in the same apartments. Just into a two bedroom two bath, which will be so nice for space! But now it means that I have to pack the entire house and move it all and unpack...Hopefully all before the end of November! Crazy!

Anyway, that's our life as of now. Will update when we get more news for you lovely people!
